Hoping to get a little something from this.
Another old film that I've only heard of. I may have watched a few parts of it before but never had the chance to watch the whole movie. On my last vacation, I decided to buy a DVD copy of this and watched it before I slept. I considered before buying. Tom Hanks' movies tend to be pretty lengthy but are almost always worth the time spent watching. I made a right choice to buy this movie. When I was younger I'd imagine being stuck in an island alone or perhaps with a few chosen companions. I had never considered the way I would be stuck in that imaginary island, or how difficult it would be to survive.
As a spin off, I had also been re-watching the series "Lost" before I went on vacation. It was a pretty bad idea to have a 7 hour marathon of the first part of season 1 considering I was leaving on vacation on a plane the very next day. Needless to say, for the first time I was actually worried. Two days before my vacation ended, I watched this movie. Well, on my flight back home - late afternoon to evening, it started to rain and oh, I almost peed my pants when there were multiple turbulence and seat belt lights on. I would never want to be stuck in an island alone. I would probably go insane, or die trying to live. On the other hand, watching those documentaries on people who survived on Discovery channel may come in handy. IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER 1. Dream High (2011)2. Emergency Couple (2014)3. My Love From Another Star (2013)4. Nail Shop Paris (2013)5. The Master's Sun (2013)Probably one of the most hilarious Korean series I've seen in a while. It's a perfect mix of comedy, horror, and romance. 6. The Moon That Embraces The Sun (2012)Mood: Recently I was curious if Lindsay had any new movies or works on television. This brought me to thinking, I know a lot of her films and like them a lot. She's probably the only actor that acted in more than three movies that I actually watched and enjoyed. So starting from recalling the movies I've seen and actually have a copy of, I began to think of another movie marathon. Although it's not quite evident in this newly built site yet, I do a lot of movie marathons. A down pouring 10-15 hours a day of movies lined up on my screen. I make a list, buy the copies and set a whole day to keep myself busy drowning in glorious films. Here's a list of Lindsay Lohan movies for a whole day marathon: 1. The Parent Trap (1998) The classic little girl film. I remember watching this over and over as a child. I envied those that had twins. Even wished I had a twin out there. LOL. 2. Life Size To be honest, I didn't know about this movie until I searched for Lindsay's films by year. I wasn't a big fan of Tyra's singing but it was catchy. ♫ Shine bright be a staaaaar!!! ♫ 3. Get A Clue4. Freaky Friday5. Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen6. Mean Girls7. Herbie Fully Loaded1. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. |
