It takes some dedication to do these challenges everyday. I learned that though it is good to challenge yourself, you should try the realistic challenges first. Realistic, but should still be a little out of your comfort zone. This way, you are a step up to a better you. :-) I will try more challenges in the future, still under the sub CHALLENGES. The most recent challenge will be at the top.
As you may have noticed, I failed to continue this challenge. Perhaps it may have been a bit rash to jump in to a 100 Day challenge for the first time; and post it immediately online. I actually got further than I thought I would, so that should count for something. :-)

I genuinely wrote a two page story about this, but after reading through I thought it may be too personal for some people. I opted to stay in the fair, general side. To put it bluntly, one has to emotionally detach him/herself from many people and many things. Realize that the only reason for negative fall back, is negative enforcement. Once one has gotten rid of all the negative stressors in his/her life, then gathering enough courage and strength to rid off all negative fall backs will be possible. Since the beginning it is always a personal choice. The time should come that one would fully understand and believe in him/herself enough, to do it first. Take in all the experiences and let the positive flow through the mind. One day one would wake up disgusted by the idea of smoke in his/her mouth and that would be it.
A kiss is just a kiss until it isn’t. I will be an adult today and talk about what a real kiss is. A kiss defined by the internet: Kiss..is a cake. Or a cookie. Mehehe.
In reality, a kiss is typically an action of affection. Therefore, it is subsequent to a variety of interpretations. Whatever others’ intention, the truth is, I can only describe it from the heart. It isn’t easy to give kisses away, nor is it to receive them. It always depends on who’s giving and who’s receiving. A gentle happy kiss from kids or your family, an affectionate friendly kiss from a close person, a greeting from a colleague, or a loving one from someone special; a kiss is just an empty word until it isn’t. A kiss you see, brings so much with it. It is a high level of affection. By that itself, automatically sends signals to your brain to complete a reaction instantly. A kiss is just a kiss, until the kissed reacts. So what is a kiss to me? A kiss is a way to enter another human being’s soul. A kiss is a taste of sweetness, of excitement, of rational and irrationality at the same time. A kiss is heaven’s gift to the soft hearted, and an evil weapon for the weak of heart. A kiss brings a seemingly endless world of just beautiful space in the midst of literal physical proximity. That is what a real kiss is. Simple my ass. But it is pretty cool. This design was made easy with a process called printing. ^_^

Was brainstorming on what to write about patterns and I can't seem to find anything to write about except the cycle of life or how things seem to fall in a circle. - But writing even about that seemed to be a pattern. (Ever tried saying a word over and over to think about something related to it, and suddenly due to repetition you forgot what the word meant? Try it...pattern, pattern, pattern, pattern, patt-ern, pa-ttern, pttern, patter, patt, patt, paturn...) So on literal translation, here's a link for a blog that I found that talks only about prints & patterns. It's like a haven for the pattern fanatics:
http://printpattern.blogspot.com/ This post will not turn into cheese. Instead of writing about repetitive romance, or great stories in between love and pain, and reconciliation, I would like to take into consideration the musical lyrics of Miss Tori Kelly. Although I haven’t really watched American Idol since Simon Cowell left, I was amused to find out that this was where she came from. I love her lyrics. "Dear No One"
I like being independent Not so much of an investment No one to tell me what to do I like being by myself Don’t gotta entertain anybody else No one to answer to But sometimes, I just want somebody to hold Someone to give me their jacket when its cold Got that young love even when we’re old Yeah sometimes, I want someone to grab my hand Pick me up, pull me close, be my man I will love you till the end So if you’re out there I swear to be good to you But I’m done lookin’, for my future someone Cause when the time is right You’ll be here, but for now Dear no one, this is your love song I don’t really like big crowds I tend to shut people out I like my space, yeah But I’d love to have a soul mate God will give him to me someday & I know it’ll be worth the wait So if you’re out there I swear to be good to you But I’m done lookin’, for my future someone Cause when the time is right You’ll be here, but for now Dear no one, this is your love song But sometimes, I just want somebody to hold Someone to give me their jacket when its cold Got that young love even when we’re old Yeah sometimes, I want someone to grab my hand Pick me up, pull me close, be my man I will love you till the end So if you’re out there I swear to be good to you But I’m done lookin’, for my future someone Cause when the time is right You’ll be here, but for now Dear no one, this is your love song When I was younger, the internet was but of something new to explore. Back then, it wasn’t even something to talk about, just something that could maybe help in a couple of things for people’s jobs and in kid’s cases, play computer games that connect to other kids that have computers that connect to the internet too.
During those times, there were no such things as Wifi and “unlimited” internet connection, oh and Bluetooth just came out. We used something called infrared on our old phones. Sending an MMS meant registering and actually paying thrice the amount of an SMS. If you wanted pictures from your friend’s phone, and didn’t want to pay extra, it meant going to your friend’s house and actually having to send it via infrared or if you were lucky enough, a phone that had Bluetooth. Did I forget to mention that other phones didn’t even used to have cameras? I sort of miss the old days when the internet was not such a big deal and that not having it meant going to your friend’s house and actually spending time to talk, look for activities to do and actually have fun doing it. Today’s world doesn’t necessarily give the importance of the physical aspect or the true meaning of social interaction. Social connections have less meaning, and attachments seem to diminish its purpose. People have become less and less able to interact like real humans should, almost all emotions excluded. The excitement has shifted from seeing and speaking in real form, to expecting an update online where everyone else is linked anyway. The value of “special” has decreased ten times the original meaning, and interactions have become narcissistic. What has the world come to? Perhaps it is for the better that humans are not as attached to some things than we were before. Perhaps it is much better that we are capable of letting things go easier than it was before. But to what end will we lose our attachments? As the evolution of technology precede over the origin of human connection, some are able to adapt in positivity and excel, and others get stuck in the meaningless, narcissistic state. |
Come up with something random for the prompt above.
