I used to play with my mom's typewriter when I was a kid. I would make little screenplays and story books for fun. Although computers were starting to get very popular then, I was still a big fan of the typewriter. I didn't have to wait for things to be printed, and frankly the sound of pressing the keys were music to my ears. I enjoyed the smell of ribbon inks too. I don't know where that typewriter is now, but it'd be nice to own one again. I once went to an antique shop and saw one of these. I only ever saw it in movies until then. I asked the owner of the shop if it still worked and it did. The owner played something once for me and I fell in love with the way the sound came out. Unfortunately it was a bit too pricey and I really had no room for it in the house. I have no idea what this is called. Again, this was one of the things I got to use as a kid. My grandparents saved theirs and it was in really good condition back then. I don't know what happened to it too. After we moved, visiting their house was rare and I don't remember the last time I saw this. This is just too damn beautiful.
